Today’s pro-tip is for new players just getting tot he point in their character’s story where they get their own ship. Once you’re about to enter for the first time, take a look around the spaceport and find the vendor that sells ship parts. There are six different pieces you can purchase initially if you can afford them and you can equip them all by the time you’re level 17.

Now why would you want to do this? Well it’s simple. You now have access to the Space Combat Daily Quests. When you first get into your ship you have about three or four dailies that you can do that give you a fantastic boost in experience. The average player is somewhere between level 15 and 16 by the time you reach this point. If you do all the dailies you should be level 17 or higher once you are finished. The ship equipment that you purchase makes these quests easier and faster to complete.

I’d recommend not purchasing Grade 1 Ship Armor, as you get it as a reward the first time you complete one of the two starter-level space combats! Save some credits :)

I’d like to point out that it doesn’t actually make the space battle itself faster, as they are all on timers. However, the upgrades will allow you to finish the objectives (and bonus objectives) faster, thus allowing for more xp/credits per run as you destroy more things.
